Recipes are for sharing...

This may seem like a weird post to have regarding recipe sharing, but there’s been some questions regarding some of the recipes that have been posted and whether or not we have been breaking copyright law by including them here. 
For the record, recipes are exempt from copyright law, so sharing lists of ingredients and directions is perfectly fine and has been done for hundreds of years.  Straight from the Copyright Law website:

If you have any questions or concerns please send us a message and we will try to address them promptly.  Feel free to copy, share and enjoy the recipes we have posted for your pleasure.  We believe all the recipes are best when using Dickey's meats, because the meat is already cooked and seasoned, so you not only save money, you save time.  We have personally cooked each recipe we post to make sure they are satisfying.

We apologize to anyone that we may have offended or felt taken advantage of that was never are intend.  If we published a recipe you may have used it was meant to be a compliment that we like it.
